LEIALOHA----Lance K. Leialoha, born in Baltimore, MD on November 29, 1959 to his loving parents, Henry and Ruth Leialoha. On July 17, 2010, while at work, he was suddenly and unexpectedly taken to be with God. He leaves his beloved wife Barbara Howard Leialoha; his loving sister Cynthia Leialoha Lucy; aunts June Elkins, Louise Lewis, and Kathleen Gosewisch; his uncle Charles Gosewisch; Barbara’s daughter Amanda Howard, and her sons Nicholas and Matthew Howard (LyDina); his grandsons Michael, Chance, Brandon, and Garet; mother in law Barbara K. Howard; also many other loving family members and friends. Lance graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1978 and owned a thriving subcontracting business. He was a sweet, kind, hard working and gentle family man, husband, and son. He always had a smile that made you feel welcome and glad to see him. He leaves a large hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and will be greatly missed. He is now resting in peace in the arms of the Lord. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday July 23, 2010 in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park with Rev. Mark Winkler, Pastor of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church officiating. Lance will be laid to rest in the Garden of the Good Shepherd at Jacksonville Memory Gardens. Family members and friends will gather from 10:00 AM until the hour of service on Friday morning at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial donations to either St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church where Lance was confirmed as a child of God, or to the American Heart Association.
