JONES---William Calvin Jones born April 21, 1924 in Chiefland, FL, passed away July 17, 2010. W. Calvin Jones was preceded in death by his son, William C. Jones, Jr. Calvin leaves his wife, Marjorie A. Jones of 67 years; son, Ronald W. Jones “Ronnie” and wife, Carol also daughter-in-law, Frances A. Jones; two grandsons, Ronald W. Jones, Jr. and William Michael Jones; granddaughter, Melissa A. Freeman (Adam) and great granddaughter, Lydia M. Freeman. Calvin was the first elected Student Body President of Chipola Jr. College, Perpetual member of Woodstock Park Masonic Lodge #313, Scottish Rite Bodies, and Life member of Morocco Temple. He served as Captain of Morocco Temple Provost in 1978 and was made an honorary member. He was also a member of Acacia court #10 order of the Amaranth. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday, July 19, 2010 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL. Funeral services in celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow immediately in the Masonic Garden at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
